NEW TECH

Welcome to the Cougar New Tech Academy Web Page

Cougar New Tech @Franklin High School provides an education embedded in a culture of trust, respect, and responsibility which promotes college and career readiness.

Students meet learning outcomes in eight areas: written communication, oral communication, collaboration, technology literacy, work ethic, content proficiency, critical thinking and global awareness.

With project-based learning, the seamless use of technology and a distinct school culture, we prepare out students with the skills needed to be successful in today's world beyond high school.

Opportunities at Cougar New Tech

Cougar New Tech learners are part of a school within a school at Franklin High School which provides for a small school experience.  However, learners are a part of Franklin High School and can participate in all clubs and extracurricular programs as a proud Franklin Cougar.

Cougar New Tech is housed at the Franklin Ninth Grade Learning Center where classrooms, furniture, and open spaces have been repurposed to set up an atmosphere where learning is student-driven and engaging to meet the needs of all learners.
