Expectations: YOU are expected to:
  • come prepared for class every day
  • participate in class every day
  • do the daily homework which is assigned
  • work together cooperatively in your groups
  • formulate and ask questions
  • have some fun
  • expect some difficulty 

Daily Routine:
  1. Class begins the minute the bell rings.
  2. Daily Lesson: investigations, discussions, and formula derivations
  3. Homework Assignment: each day you will be given problems to work on
  4. Time to work: you will be given time to work on the homework assignment
  5. Class Ends: when the bell sooner, and certainly, no later!!

1st nine weeks:

     Unit 2: Reasoning and Proofs
     Unit 3: Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
2nd nine weeks:
     Unit 4: Triangles and Congruence
     Unit 5: Relationships with Triangles
     Unit 6: Similarity
3rd nine weeks:
     Unit 7: Polygons and Quadrilaterals
     Unit 8: Right Triangle Trigonometry
     Unit 9: Perimeter and Area
4th nine weeks:
     Unit 10: Surface Area and Volume
     Unit 11: Rigid Transformations
     Unit 12: Circles
     Unit 13: Probability

Throughout the class we have access to 3 resources:
Geometry Workbooks (Class set)
Geometry Textbooks (Hard-cover/ class set)
Online Textbook from (similar to hardcover textbook but not exact, problems are different but concept the same)

The Textbook is called,"EPISD Geometry 2015-2016". Save the textbook to your library for easy access. The Curriculum follows the online textbook.)
