Students will be learning basic French.  Students are expected to come to class prepared in order to be able learn!  My class involves a lot of in-class practice and various writing and reading tasks.  Students are expected to participate.

Below please find a supply list for my Class:
    Notebook - this can be a 3 prong folder with pockets or a divider within a binder. All notebooks must have 2 sections! 1 for Vocabulary; 1 for Notes - NO SPIRAL or COMPOSITION notebooks! You must be able to move papers around.
    2 boxes of kleenex (community)

Materials students will need for my class throughout the year (individual use):
  • Pen (black or blue only)
  • Pencil
  • Markers/colored pencils/crayons
  • Scissors
  • Glue
    headphones/microphone (computer lab use)
  • Flash drive or access to online storage (dropbox, box, etc)

Discipline Policy:

    Be Prompt - Attending class on time and regularly is the only way to excel in French class.
    Be Polite - Respecting yourself and others helps create a positive learning environment! This also includes respecting items inside and outside of the classroom and the school.
    Be Prepared - Coming to class with everything you need to learn is essential. This also includes studying regularly and staying healthy.
Consequences:

    Verbal warning (individual or group), discussion directly with teacher. Lunch detention possible for tardy, behavior, unprepared
    Call or note to parents/guardian
    Parent/Teacher Conference - Discipline contract or other corrective action
    Referral to office*
*In extreme instances a student may be referred to the office
